Daily practice of Nadi Shodhana Pranayama
Nadi Shodhana or alternate nostril breathing is one of the yogi breath practices (Pranayama). This breathing practice is very easy to learn and brings great benefits of calming and balancing energy. Regular practice of course will bring greater and more noticeable results than just dipping into it here and there. I have been practicing it in the morning and evening before my silent meditation.
How to practice Nadi Shodhana
I found the following video instructions by Atmarpit Dr. Suprina very well explained, simple, and inspiring. Please take a look. I suggest making some notes so you can refer to later if needed.

Started last night (the 13th).
Felt really lovely to do the breathing in bed and was very relaxed when I stopped. During the night I woke up and struggled to get back to sleep, so did it again – this time I visualised closing and opening my nostrils. It worked really well.
I like the tip of visualizing. I tried this today and I do like it. Felt calm and clear!
Enjoyed doing the breathing at yoga and just before bed. I have a hospital appointment today and it’s helping with my anxiety
good to hear how the breathing helps you in the curcumstance. Hope all is going very well with everything.
A gentle time breathing late in the evening – a lovely relaxing time
